The 'no or low' alcohol category has boomed in recent times but wine has been left behind by AF beers and spirits. Until now. Wednesday's Domaine tastes the part and looks the part, crafted with nous and creativity, exceptionally food friendly, and therefore offering restaurants, bars, pubs and drinks retailers a game changing wine to sit alongside their existing no or low alcohol offering.

The wines.
Piquant (white, below left) is crisp, clean and perfectly balanced, with a hint of minerality and citrus notes. Starting with de-alcoholised Airén Blanco from La Mancha in Spain, the wine is blended with natural flavours and other elements to maintain the body, flavour, aroma and complexity often lost when alcohol is removed from wine.
Sanguine (red, below right) channels lighter-bodied reds, with crunchy, juicy red fruits. Like with Piquant, natural flavours and other elements, including wine tannins, are blended with the wine, which in this case is de-alcoholised Tempranillo from La Mancha. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
