The story.
The white pebble-dashed soils of Épineuil, in the historic Tonnerois region, resemble those of nearby Chablis, a mere stone’s throw south, and Dominique Gruhier crafts exquisite white, red and sparkling organic wines from both areas. He hails from Tonnerre and knows the region’s soils intimately, his wines being the fruition of years of experience in these rarefied climes.
