Mary Taylor

Mary Taylor is a true iconoclast, pursuing a négociant path yet in many ways going far beyond the practices of a traditional négociant.

 

Mary works closely with small, sustainable growers mostly in France but also in Spain and Italy, shining a light particularly on less heralded appellations and grape varieties.

 

This delightful, light sparkling wine comes from sustainability certified (SQNPI and Equalitas) vineyards planted upwards of 30 years ago in the foothills of the Alps, on the east side of Vicenza.

 

Sofia Brescia is the name given to honour the previous generations of winegrowers, many of whom were women that have been otherwise forgotten by historical naming conventions.
