It's not the typical journey for a Swiss oenologist to find themselves planting a vineyard and making wine, beer, cider and mead in the heart of England's New Forest national park, then then these aren't typical wines. Guillaume Lagger brings a polymath's eye to crafting a portfolio that manages to stay faithful to the most essential of winemaking traditions while also knocking down the door to a new age for English wine. His two hectares near Lymington should be productive from the 2024 vintage and in the meantime, Guillaume is sourcing grapes for his award-winning, ever developing range from across the south of England.
