Located in Panzano in Chianti, Tenuta Casenuove covers 105 hectares spread over a succession of hills and valleys.
There are 28 hectares under vine (in organic conversion), the rest of the estate largely laid to forest and olive groves.
Planted high above the Pesa river at altitudes of 370 to 490 metres, in soils rich in the famed local galestro, it is here that winery director Alessandro Fonseca, cellar master Maria Sole Zoli and young winemaker Cosimo Casini are crafting some of the most exciting new wines in Chianti Classico.
