Dating back to 1690, Domaine Jourdain has been farmed since 1990 by Sophie Siadou and her partner Francis Jourdain.

Originally from Avignon, Sophie arrived in Valençay to work on a goat farm (the region being renowned for its pyramid-shaped goat’s cheese), where she met Francis.

Together they farm 28 beautiful hectares of vines planted on the caillouteux (flint & silex) soils. This wine is a result of Sophie’s unique vision and holistic approach in the vineyard – a natural and evocative expression of one of France’s less appreciated wine regions.
