Nuno Mira do Ó is one of Portugal's foremost viticulturalists and winemakers, mostly making wines in the historic Dão region, as well as Alentejo, Bucelas, Bairrada and Monção in the Minho.

His widely lauded Druida wines hark back to the ancient Celtic druids, wise men and philosophers who sought spiritual equilibrium between man and nature, and it's in a similar spirit that Nuno aims to make his wines.

Grapes for these and Vidente are grown by Nuno Matos at Quinta da Turquide in Silgueiros at an altitude of 500 metres on granite-rich soils and subject to a large temperature shift because of the Serra do Caramulo from the west and Serra da Estrela from the south-east.
