Domaine Jean-Michel Dupré is a family-run estate based in the hills above Beaujeu, in the heart of Beaujolais. The estate has been passed down through five generations, with Jean-Michel taking over in 1989 when he inherited 2 hectares of vines from his father.
Since then, he has gradually expanded the domaine to around 14 hectares, converting the family farm into a winery and acquiring well-situated parcels across Beaujolais, Régnié and Morgon. Today, the estate is run by Jean-Michel alongside his daughter Cindy, continuing the family legacy.
The vineyards are largely composed of old vines, some over a century old, which form a key part of the domaine’s identity. Farmed organically for many years, the work in both vineyard and cellar follows a traditional, low-intervention approach, aiming to preserve the character of each parcel.
