Based in the historic Abbaye du Petit Quincy, Dominique Gruhier has been a key figure in reviving the historic vineyards of Épineuil since the 1990s.

The domaine now covers 30 hectares, certified organic since 2003, with vineyards rooted in the same Kimmeridgian limestone that defines nearby Chablis. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are the focus, crafted with low-intervention methods that favour native yeasts, gentle extraction, and minimal sulfur.

The resulting wines are pure, vibrant, and terroir-driven — a compelling expression of this cooler, lesser-known corner of northern Burgundy that’s gaining increasing attention for its quality and value.
