Domaine du Grand Mayne was founded in 1985 by wine lovers Andrew & Edwina Gordon, who fell in love with the terroir - similar to both Saint-Emilion (limestone) and Pomerol (clay). Wineshare was then created: a wine club where one contributes directly to the Domaine…

It was an immense success, with up to 5,000 members in the 90s. Finally, in 2022, Terra Bona, a privately funded foundation, acquired the Domaine and focuses now on further developing Grand Mayne as a leading, sustainable, agro-ecological and biodiverse wine estate.
