Domaines Famille Picard was founded in 1951 with just two hectares of prime Chassagne-Montrachet in the commune of Chagny.

Since 2007, Francine Picard has overseen the family’s vineyards across the Côte Chalonnaise and Côte de Beaune, which are variously managed organically and biodynamically.

Au Pied du Mont Chauve came into being at the end of the 2000s and is crafted from biodynamic vineyards in Chassagne-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin and Puligny-Montrachet. Exquisitely made from the finest vineyards, the wines are naturally expressive of their terroir.
