Alexander Schregel

Born in the Rheingau in 1996, Alex grew up in a winemaking family and studied viticulture and enology at Geisenheim.

 

After apprenticeships at Rebholz, Leitz, Fürst, and Künstler, he joined Leitz in 2018 and quickly became technical director, overseeing 160 hectares.

 

In 2021, Alex began his own project after leasing small parcels in two top Rüdesheim sites — Bischofsberg and Roseneck. He works organically with biodynamic practices and his wines reflect precision, elegance, and a deep respect for his region’s terroir.
